Every student is issued a cosmetology kit to aid in the learning process and help lead them into becoming a successful stylist. Here is a list of what each student will receive:

• Shears
• Clippers
• 1600-Watt Blow Dryer
• ¾" Marcel Iron
• 1" Flat Iron
• Neck Trimmers
• Manicure/Pedicure Supplies
• Application Bottles, Bowls, and Brushes
• Combs and Brushes
• Clips

Pivot Point has also become an innovator in mannequins with their new Snap Caps. The new mannequin design is called “e-cubed” because it is educationally-inspired, eco-friendly, and very economical. Instead of throwing away an entire mannequin head after use, the Snap Cap allows students to keep the same mannequin head and just snap in new hair pieces. This design means that not as much plastic is being wasted during the learning process, and it allows for cheaper replacements during continuing education. Hair for the Snap Cap comes in a wide variety of lengths, structures, and textures, ensuring that students get the largest range of experience while spending the least amount of money possible.

In terms of mannequins, all cosmetology students will receive:

• 2 male mannequins
• 1 female Snap Cap mannequin with multiple hair attachments
• 1 non-Caucasian Snap Cap
